Remembrance: Vancouver’s Remembrance Day at Victory Square returns for the 100th year in a ceremony full of reflection, respect and remembrance of sacrifices in the service of our country – past and present. Vancouver also features a ceremony cohosted by Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, Nikkei Place Foundation at the Japanese Canadian War Memorial, Stanley Park
Ceremonies also take place in neighbouring communities; UBC’s War Memorial Gym, Burnaby’s Confederation Park and Bonsor Park, New Westminster City Hall Cenotaph, Richmond City Hall, and find others in your city.
Choir: Chor Leoni 33rd season begins with its 33rd Annual Remembrance Day Concert, Shadows Into Dawn, a mix of folk songs, popular songs, and choral masterpieces, will guide audiences on a journey of contemplation, on November 11th @ 2pm & 5pm at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church
Orpheus: We Remember is a pair of concerts by Vancouver Orpheus Male Choir; November 9th, a joint concert with the Delta Concert Band at Seaquam Secondary School and November 11th at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Langley
Transform: The fifth TRANSFORM Festival, presented by Urban Ink in collaboration with The Cultch, is a four-day festival featuring an all-star lineup of Indigenous and non-Indigenous talents at the Vancouver Playhouse stage from November 6-9 including a premiere performance of In Spirit, performed by Chor Leoni and the Vancouver Youth Choir, in honour of National Indigenous Veterans Day November 8th
Bishop: Metro Theatre welcomes Billy Bishop Goes To War, one of the finest Canadian musicals of all time. The one-man show stars Damon Calderwood as Billy Bishop from November 9-30, 2024
Heart: The 21st Annual Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival, brings over 100 events, centred on a theme of Threads of Connection, to venues around the Downtown Eastside until November 10.

Light: Lumière Festival, Vancouver’s premier celebration of light, art, and community promises another immersive experience featuring dazzling light installations and live performances illuminating downtown Vancouver, November 7 to 10.
Stand: Presentation House Theatre and Blackout Art Society co-present the Theatre Series of the 4th annual STAND Festival, a celebration of immigrant and refugee performing artists until November 17
