Fire: The Cultch and Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre present Carmen Aguirre’s Fire Never Dies: The Tina Modotti Project—a world premiere from Electric Company Theatre at the Historic Theatre, October 15–26.
Irish: Until October 18, Jericho Arts Centre welcomes John Patrick Shanley’s modern day Irish fairy tale, Outside Mullingar a poetic, uplifting, dark and funny tale.
Wake: From October 15 to November 2, Pacific Theatre presents its final production in its present home, a remount of the Jessie Award Winning Wakey, Wakey by Will Eno
Tour: Kaytranada x Justice kick off their co-headlining North American tour on October 16th at Rogers Arena

Fight: Saturday, MMA returns to Rogers Arena with UFC Fight Night 262: de Ridder vs. Allen as well as five other bouts on the main card
Ocean: October 18th, British indie rockers The Wombats: Oh! The Ocean Tour makes a stop at the Commodore Ballroom
Dialogue: Today, The Dance Centre hosts the first Dance Dialogues, featuring Justine A. Chambers and Ryan Tacata Patterning a new series of talks where artists and scholars delve into the ideas, practices, and provocations that shape contemporary dance and art-making
Damned: The Beaumont Studios annual Halloween spectacular sees favourite cult classics twisted and reborn in Theatre of the Damned running October 16 to 30
Taste: October 16-18, Presentation House Theatre presents Lasa ng Imperyo/A Taste of Empire by Jovanni Sy, the witty play is performed in Tagalog with English surtitles

Immersive: Starting October 9th, strap in for a harrowing journey with your broom-riding tour guide “Biker Mama” and her sidekick “Tiger Moon” as HowlOver returns to Flyover for a special limited run, joining the repertoire with the all new Awaken Canada. Canyon: It’s spooky season as Canyon Frights returns to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park until November 2. Find a frightful forest, where graveyards, pumpkins and glowing mycelium set the stage for a chilling adventure.
Value: The Museum of Anthropology at UBC presents an exhibition of acclaimed contemporary artist Rebecca Belmore. VALUE: Rebecca Belmore at the Museum of Anthropology, on display until October 19, 2025.
Longhouse: Richmond Art Gallery presents a new solo exhibition by Manuel Axel Strain, until November 9, celebrating the cedar longhouse as an important architectural form and philosophical framework that reflects the collectivist and relational values of their ancestors and communities.
Nuxalk: Ongoing at MOA is the world premiere of Nuxalk Strong: Dancing Down the Eyelashes of the Sun, on display until January 5, 2026.
NDN: Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art presents the world premiere of NDN Giver, a look at consider how the act of giving is tied to identity, responsibility, resistance, and renewal, curated by the gallery’s Assistant Curator Amelia Rea in her solo curatorial debut, the exhibition runs until January 25, 2026.
Haida: Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art presents the Vancouver premiere of the retrospective exhibition Kihl ‘Yahda Christian White: Master Haida Artist running until February 1, 2026.
