With spring around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about getting out of the house and discovering the city’s new flavours and eateries. Vancouver Foodster has lined up a selection of foodie adventures to help you whet your appetite this season.
Up first, we can hope the sun will come out for Vancouver Foodster’s 7th Annual Noodle Mania (postponed from January), a noodle-centric tour of the west-side and west end of Vancouver. Starting at Silk Road Tea on 4th Ave, then check out Noodle Arts, Robba di Matta, Italian Tomato, Pacific Poke and more. Tickets are on sale now, at a special rate of $140 for a 4 pack of tickets, until February 9th.
March 4th takes visitors to another downtown Vancouver neighbourhood. Tasting Plates Yaletown welcomes tasters to find the neighbourhood’s culturally diverse sweet and savoury spots like Manoush’eh, Robba di Matta, The Belgian Chocolate Cafe, Passion Gelato and others. Vancouver Foodster is offering a special $79 per person VIP Experience for Tasting Plates Yaletown which includes a 30 minute early check-in, personal guided tour with VanFoodster – Richard Wolak, and an extra restaurant stop. Saturday April 4th Vancouver Foodster introduces a fun, new food event for your weekend afternoon. From 1pm – 5pm the Vancouver Foodster Culinary Scavenger Hunt is a “tasting experience” through downtown Vancouver with clues, challenges, prizes and more. Pay close attention to your “map and clues card” and you will enjoy dishes, bites and treats from Firecrust Custom Pizza & Salads, J&G Fried Chicken, Pappa Roti, Davie Dosa Company, and others.
