After 341 years, the venerable Hudson Bay Company just had a facelift and she looks good! Not content to let the brand retire in her old age, The Bay’s president & CEO Bonnie Brooks is on a plan to breathe new life into the oldest company in North America. This week two new brand boutiques opened within the flagship Vancouver and Toronto Bay stores.
Topshop, the iconic British high street ladieswear
retailer launched their partnership with The Bay. Known for creating buzz through collaborations with model/designer Kate Moss and artist Stella Vine. At just a small 1500 square feet the Topshop
collection has been carefully curated by the Topshop design team to capture the essence of the brand. The capsule collection has everything needed to put together a Topshop wardrobe from outerwear to accessories. A full scale Topshop is due to open within The Bay store during 2012 as well sibling menswear brand, Topman.
The Topshop boutique is complimented by the recently opened designer in-store boutique The Room. Housing nearly three dozen top names in design, like Erdem, Balmain, Jason Wu, Claudia Schiffer Cashmere and Dsquared, The Room presents capsule collections of just a few pieces from each designer. Uniquely styled, for The Bay, The Room is chic and simple, laying out the collections in ways to mix and match the perfect ensemble.
Ladies, combine Topshop and The Room to create your new look for fall/winter.
