Last month, we told you about the Vancouver Foodster Cake Challenge that we all had the privilege of participating in the tastings. I was honoured to be one of the media judges to try and assess each of the entries, while the public tried the cakes to find their favourites to vote on the People’s Choice.

2. Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake from Trees Organic Coffee & Cheesecake
The rich, decadent hazelnut-chocolate cheesecake includes a blend of hazelnut paste + crushed hazelnuts, sprinkled with gold flakes and a topped with a whole Ferrero Roche Chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate flakes. ?

3. Biscoff Mousse Cake from Just Cakes Bakeshop?
The caramelized, brown-sugar & cinnamon cake replicates the fan-favourite biscuits, layered with Biscoff Mousse and topped with Biscoff Montee, Chocolate Pearls, Crumbled Biscoff and a Biscoff Drizzle. ?
Available by the slice at Just Cakes Bakeshops’ Scott Road or Cloverdale locations in Surrey. ?
