One of Metro Vancouver’s favourite family holiday activities has returned to brighten our winter nights! Capilano Suspension Bridge Park has thrown the switch on another season of Canyon Lights, turning the park into a twinkling, holiday wonderland.

Until January 18, 2026, guests can explore the 27 acres of illuminated forest, trails, bridge and structures. Cross the historic suspension bridge with its dancing, colour-changing lights, climb 110 feet into the twinkling canopy of the Treetop Adventures, hug the rockface 30 stories above the cascading Capilano River on the light-lined walkways of Cliffwalk leading you into magically luminescent forest paths. New for 2026 Wildlight, is a 3D wildlife projection set within the rainforest where West Coast forest creatures – black bear, coyote and Great Horned Owl – come to life and light in detail across the landscape.

Feeling a chill, get cozy around a firepit with a hot chocolate (maybe with Bailey’s?) or a hot apple cider from Loggers’ Grill while listening to live Christmas music. Come hungry and pull up a table by the fireplace at The Cliff House Restaurant for a holiday cocktail or eggnog with a hearty bowl of chowder or a stack of chicken wings. Seeking something sweet? Add some whip cream and sprinkles to your Beary Waffle, or sink your teeth into gooey block of fudge or scoop up your favourite flavour of Rocky Point ice cream at The Trading Post.
Everywhere you turn, from the Story Centre to Kia’palano across to Raptor Ridge and Nature’s Edge, the Capilano Elves have been hard at work decorating and lighting up the entire park for your family and friends’ festive adventures!
