Vancouverites have come to know and love Tourism Vancouver’s annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival each winter. To make the most of this covid-era summer, Tourism Vancouver and its community partners, are bringing us Dine OutSide, Dine Out Vancouver Festival’s first summer-time food and drink celebration, kicking off August 21st.

Primed to make the most of the peak west coast summer, Dine OutSide will highlight the city’s restaurant and newly expanded patios, bringing a much needed boost to the hospitality community. Metro Vancouver residents and visitors from across the province will experience why Vancouver has earned a reputation as an incredible culinary hub!
In addition to expanded patio dining, participating dining establishments will offer either prix fixe menus at $15, $25, $35 or $45 price points, special promotional offers or take-outside and picnic packs for those who want to take in the great urban outdoors. Dine OutSide will run from August 21 to September 21, 2020 at restaurants across the region giving you plenty of time to explore. Dine OutSide and find a new restaurant patio or one of the city’s new pop-up plazas, take it to-go and picnic in a park or green space to keep your physical distance from other diners.
“Dine OutSide is a terrific way to support the city’s exceptional culinary talent and enjoy the benefits of a city immersed in nature – whether that’s enjoying drinks on a patio or taking a picnic to Stanley Park. Our restaurant and hospitality partners who make up an important part of our tourism industry have been hard at work the last few months to ensure the safety and health of patrons. There’s never been a better time to explore what our city is dishing up!” – Royce Chwin, CEO of Tourism Vancouver
Dine OutSide also comes at the perfect time to book a late summer getaway or staycation in Vancouver. Partner hotels will offer exclusive rates and experiences making it easy for dining enthusiasts to plan a gastronomic getaway. Restaurant and hotel offers will be listed at dineoutside.ca starting August 13, 2020, in time to let the eating begin August 21st.
