Based on Reese Witherspoon’s 2001 film, which was based on a book by Amanda Brown, Legally Blonde The Musical stars powerhouse Abby Woodhouse, making her TUTS debut, as sorority girl Elle Woods. Just before graduation Elle is dumped by her perfect beau, Warner (Connor Hawkins). Determined to win him back, she sets her sights on joining him at Harvard Law School but once she gets in she finds Harvard Law is a long way from her Fashion Merchandising degree in Malibu. Initially dismissed as just an unserious blonde in hot pink by her classmates and faculty, she soon chips away at their prejudices and turns an academic and professional corner with the help of the Emmett (Nathaniel Johnson) and kind-hearted hairdresser Paulette Buonofuonte played by the brilliant Madeleine Suddaby. Eventually, Elle learns to be true to herself to win the case and earn the respect of rival Vivienne (Viviana Renteria) and the manipulative Professor Callahan (Peter Jorgensen).
Supported by a Greek Chorus of sorority sisters Madison Raybould, Madison Simms and, Lexi Limin as Serena, Margot and Pilar along with the other Delta Nus from the ensemble Viktor Atencia, Aaron Cheung, Romar Dungo, Sam Hall, Amanda Lourenço, Ava Maddison, Sophie McKenzie, Jessica O’Brien-Visbisky, Tiana Pazdirek, Andrea Pizarro, Owen CB Scott, Thomas Schultes, Alex Villaverde Lopez, Brett Williams and Teagan Wong
