Metro Theatre starts the year off with a legend, welcoming Always…Patsy Cline by Ted Swindley, to the stage, January 4-14, 2024.
Deep Cove’s First Impressions Theatre is celebrating its 40th Anniversary by reviving some of its best loved productions including Always…Patsy Cline, a heartwarming musical, making its first stop at Metro Theatre.
Inspired by the first female solo artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the multi-award winning Patsy Cline, whose untimely death in a plane crash cut short the career of one of the greatest voices of all time and created an instant legend. More than a Jukebox Musical tribute to the legendary country singer, the show is based on a true story about the friendship between Patsy Cline and a fan, Louise Seger, who befriended and corresponded with the star from 1961 until her tragic death in 1963.
Complete with a live band, down-home country humour, and true emotion, the show includes Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, San Antonio Rose, and Walking After Midnight… and more!
