Grouse Mountain’s Seek the Peak returns Saturday, June 14th, as participants make their way from Ambleside Park to Grouse Mountain they’ll be helping to raise funds for Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation (MVRP Foundation).

The epic 16 km course starts at 8:15am June 14th by the beach at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, then winds its way through North Vancouver, before heading into Grouse Mountain Regional park and up the world-renowned Grouse Grind to The Peak of Vancouver – Grouse Mountain.
With a challenging 1,400m elevation climb, Seek the Peak is a test of fitness, stamina and overall mental toughness. Seek the Peakers will face the 16 km course on their own or tackle it with a team of 2-4, splitting up the four legs.
While the race roster is now full, friends and family are welcome support the runners and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation by sponsor a runner or team, and cheering on the competitors at various spots along the course including: The Start Line at Ambleside Beach, Ambleside Spirit Trail, Cleveland Dam, Nancy Greene Way, the base or top of Grouse Grind, or the Finish Line at Grouse Mountain Mountaintop Plaza where racers will celebrate their achievement with a finish line party.
You can also directly support Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation, the only registered charity dedicated to supporting Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, with donations to support local trail and conservation projects or become a Foundation partner or sponsor and double the impact.
Celebrating its 25th year, MVRP Foundation and the Regional Parks provide great benefits for our local environment, our communities, in addition to helping to boost visitors’ mental and physical health. Funds support local conservation work, research projects, park enhancements, and education programs including North Shore projects;
Capilano River Regional Park | Canyon Trails Restoration: Restoring and replanting degraded riparian areas impacted by off-trail activity.
Lynn Headwaters Regional Park | Big Cedar Route Safety Upgrades: Improving safety along a heavily used unofficial route by removing hazardous trees and controlling erosion to protect access to the Big Cedar tree.
Lynn Headwaters Regional Park | Hanes Crossing Bridge: Building a new bridge across Lynn Creek to provide safe access and enhance the backcountry experience.?
