Music: The Firehall Arts Centre’s Music In The Courtyard series continues with more music this week including performances by; Ophelia Falling, Quatuor André Lachance, three performers come together for Electronic Night and Brad Turner Quartet

Tiara: Today is the last chance to stream A Something Extra Productions’ Pageant: A Musical Comedy Beauty Contest, presented by the Kay Meek Arts Centre. A parody of 80s American beauty contests, with a cross-gender casting twist, this online presentation sees the female contestants portrayed by male-identifying actors, all in pursuit of the tiara and the title.
Bard: Book tickets to screen the world premiere of the creative and through-provoking Done/Undone, feature film commissioned by Bard on the Beach, available on demand until September 30th
Stage: Beneath Springhill: The Maurice Ruddick Story runs at Granville Island Stage until August 29th as part of The Arts Club Theatre summer series of plays
Carnaval: This week finds dance, diversity and the sounds of Latin America filling the roster for the hybrid live/digital Carnaval del Sol

Pop-up: Thursday Music on Main’s summer pop up concerts in Mount Pleasant park welcomes: Terry Riley’s In C with the Music on Main All-Star Band
Fair: Fan favourites, Farm Country, Lumberjack Shows, SuperDogs, Mini-Donuts, the Prize Home, and more are coming back for the 111th PNE Fair, along with daily local entertainment on the Coca-Cola Stage
Kicks: Whitecaps FC are back at BC Place, hosting Real Salt Lake on August 29th
Monsoon: Continuing until August 31st, The South Asian Arts Society’s sixth annual Monsoon Festival of Performing Arts, is online with a host of digital events, performances, talks and music.
Digital: The Cultch shares its latest series – East Van to Edinburgh – with the globe bringing five dynamic digital shows from Vancouver to audiences in the UK, Canada, and all around the world until August 28, 2021.
