Sounds: Summer Sounds, Vancouver Civic Theatre‘s happy hour open-air concerts on the stage at 650 Hamilton start at 4:30 on Thursdays, close out the season with DJ Nea & DJ Paisley Eva
Shakespeare: There’s still one month to see the 2024 season of Bard on the Beach, under the tents at Senakw with Twelfth Night and Hamlet in rotation on the BMO Mainstage and Measure for Measure and Comedy of Error on The Howard Family Stage.
Fest: Taking a look at its history, this weekend’s TaiwanFest brings arts, entertainment, and culture to various locations around downtown Vancouver

Patio: Vancouver biggest pop-up patio, the 1000-seat Patio at BC Place, opens Friday to Monday at 3pm at Terry Fox Plaza between Gate A & H at BC Place with food, fun and entertainment all weekend long Free for the whole family, with the first 100 guests each day, receiving a Free Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog.
Fair: Wrap up summer at the PNE Fair, running until Labour Day with all your favourite attractions and entertainment including The SuperDogs, Dueling Pianos, agriculture displays, For the Love of Drag, cooking demonstrations, performances at Music in the Park, exhibits, and, Summer Night Concerts.
