The cloud of COVID-19 hangs over the globe, with even more restrictions and closures, so we must find our own entertainment for this week’s picks.
Art: Vancouver Art Gallery isn’t letting a COVID-19 closure stop it from offering a host of activities to help everyone be creative during its Digital Spring, each day the VAG will offer an activity on its Instagram and Facebook.

French: Why not make use of your home time by honing your culinary skills. You might not feel like Julia, or even Julie, but French Cooking Made Easy Kits from Provence Marinaside are just the thing you need to create some of the restaurants iconic French dishes at home. Each week a new $40 kit will be offered for take-out (allow 2 hours notice to pick up), then follow along with Chef/Owner Jean-Francis Quaglia’s demo video to create your own dish. This week’s kit (available Thursday March 26), is Prawns Provençal.

Rosie: With Broadway dark for the foreseeable future, The Rosie O’Donnell Show returned for a one night only episode, Sunday night, in support of the Actors Fund to support the entertainment industry in need during the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak; a host of Broadway and Hollywood’s biggest names stopped by for a “virtual” visit with Rosie during the 3 hour show.
