Murray: The Beaumont Studios, presents another one-of-a-kind event dedicated to everyone’s favorite comedic legend, Keep Calm and Murray On promises to be the ultimate Bill Murray-inspired Halloween experience.
Frights: Until October 31, the spooktacular Canyon Frights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park offers a fantastic fright for families to take a thrilling journey through the chills and thrills around every corner of the frightful forest
Ghost: Closing November 2, Metro Theatre visits spooky season with The Woman In Black, based on Dame Susan Hill’s terrifying ghost story, adapted to stage by Stephen Mallatratt and starring Vancouver theatre icon Bernard Cuffling as the aging solicitor Arthur Kipps

Witch: Rumours of an ancient witch in the backwoods casting her dark powers upon the town catapults the supernatural police mystery, Yaga at Gateway Theatre October 24 – November 2
Nights: Vancouver’s favourite halloween haunt scares up the fun as Fright Nights rises from the grave at PNE Playland. Until October 31st, visitors will creep through an array of haunted houses, entertainment, spooky foods, night rides & attractions all guaranteed to make this a scare this Halloween season!
Silent: October 28 at the Orpheum, celebrate the spooky season with a Halloween edition of Silent Movie Mondays – The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, the cult German silent horror film will be screened with the soundtrack played live on the theatre’s rare Wurlitzer organ.
Wonka: Explore a world of pure imagination as Willy Wonka invites you into his flavourful, fantastical factory in CTORA Production’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, playing until October 27 at the Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre.
Opera: The 65th Vancouver Opera season gets underway Saturday October 26th with the first of four performances of Stauss’ witty and mischevious operetta Die Fledermaus
Writers: October 21-27, the 37th annual Vancouver Writers Fest offers book-lovers the opportunity to come together for a weeklong celebration of writers and the literary world.
Vimy: Firehall Arts Centre presents the Vancouver Premiere of Ridge, by Brendan McLeod and The Fugitives, takes a look at the “battle that made Canada” through direct storytelling, verbatim theatre, and live music with The Fugitives’ inventive musical interpretations of WWI soldier songs
Extended: The Arts Club Theatre Company’s season is underway with director Julie Tomaino’s knock out production of Jersey Boys – the musical true story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons – at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage has been extended an extra week, now closing October 27
Sexy: The Arts Club On Tour takes the contemporary Canadian comedy Sexy Laundry, by acclaimed playwright Michele Riml, on the road at Surrey Arts Centre until October 26

Dance: PRISM at The Cultch Historic Theatre is conceptual hip–hop with a contemporary twist – limbs, reality, and illusion intertwine in this kaleidoscopic voyage from October 23-27
Pea: Presentation House Theatre’s stage features Little Pea (French: Petit Pois), a ground-breaking piece of theatre for young audiences created and directed by renowned Belgian theatre artist Agnès Limbos, closing October 26
