Ballet BC recently wrapped up its 2024/25 season and, in its wake the 2025/26 season is now on sale.
Three performances take to the stage at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the famed Royal Winnipeg Ballet Nutcracker returns as well as the very popular dancer-run Take Form.
The Ballet BC Queen Elizabeth Theatre begins this autumn.
November 6, 7 & 8, 2025
TRILOGY: The season opens with TRILOGY featuring a world premiere from an emerging voice, a poetic revival from Ballet BC’s Artistic Director, and the return of a worldwide hit featuring a monumental cast. Experience a new creation from Italian choreographer Sofia Nappi, Medhi Walerski’s SWAY, and Shahar Binyamini’s 50-dancer BOLERO X.

INFINITY: The season continues with INFINITY, an evening featuring two of the world’s foremost and truly masterful choreographic voices. Crystal Pite’s stunning Frontier returns following its unforgettable 2024 Ballet BC debut, and the work of Ji?í Kylián will be back on our stage for the first time since 2011 with the visionary 27’52”.

UNITY: Immerse yourself in the creative UNITY of trailblazing choreographic duo and Batsheva Dance Company alumni Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, who return to Ballet BC to share a sweeping full-evening follow up to their 2025 debut with the company.
New for this season, Ballet BC has added matinee performances to each program, allowing patrons to choose from Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening performances at 7:30pm or afternoon performances at 1:30pm on Saturdays.

TAKE FORM at Newmont Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre: Returning for its fifth year, Take Form is created, produced and choreographed entirely by the Ballet BC company of dancers, offering an opportunity for the artists to explore skills on and off the stage.

Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet: Nutcracker at Queen Elizabeth Theatre: Under the new Artistic Directorship of Christopher Stowell, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet returns to Vancouver with their acclaimed production of Nutcracker. Tchaikovsky classic score is brought to life in this charming, fantastical rendition of the classic story follows the adventures of Clara, her Nutcracker Prince, the Sugar Plum Fairy and more timeless characters. Look out for distinctly Canadian highlights; hockey, Canadian geese, touques and tutus all come together at the Queen Elizabeth stage.
