The Vancouver debut of The Art of Banksy Without Limits is now on show until May 25, 2025 at 1 Alexander Street in Gastown.

The unparalleled exhibition has already been viewed by over 2 million visitors on its tours in Europe, the United States, South America, Asia, Australia, and now in Canada, this historic brick-walled Gastown gallery space gives art and pop-culture lovers the opportunity to come face to face with the amazing works of the famed British street artist, Banksy.
Featuring over 200 pieces including over 50 certified originals, alongside prints, photographs, lithographs, sculptures, murals, and exclusive video mapping installations. The Vancouver exhibition is a feast for the senses – more than just visual arts, Banky’s work is thought-provoking, culturally and politically charged while also being creative and stimulating, from interactive exhibits that surround you to paint-your-own t-shirts, this exhibition offers something new and unexpected at every corner.

Taken from real-world locations around the world, the brick walls of the space offer the perfect backdrop to bring some the graffiti-style recreations to Vancouver. Famed pieces like “Kissing Coppers”, “Balloon Girl”, “Flower Thrower” grace the galleries. While large scale sculptures like “Phone Booth”, the walk-through ‘Infinity Rooms’ (beware if you have vertigo), or a replica “Walled-Off Hotel” room bring audiences up close to iconic works. Enter “Dismaland” bemusement park, immersive pieces and galleries fill the multi-levels of 1 Alexander Street. The theatre room presents a video documentary to gain even more insights into Banksy’s life, work and activism. The Art of Banksy Without Limits feels like a never-ending voyage through the mind of the mysterious creator, the exhibition recommends spending at least an hour to view but you’ll want to take longer or visit multiple times to fully absorb everything.
