Golden Girls: The Laughter Continues

The holidays is the perfect season to reconnect with friends and family, and Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue allows us to reconnect with these old friends over some cheesecake and laughs. Making its debut in Canada with a brand-new acclaimed tribute show bringing Miami’s sassiest seniors to the stage.
The Hobbit
November 13 to December 21, 2024 at Pacific Theatre, 1440 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver
In this world premiere production, two actors, and a dragon’s hoard of theatre magic, bring JRR Tolkien’s storytelling masterpiece The Hobbit to life as audiences follow Bilbo Baggins as he embarks on a rollicking adventure with dwarves, elves, goblins, wizards and more.
Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol
November 14 to December 24, 2024 at The Arts Club Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, 2750 Granville Street, Vancouver
Shifting the setting of the Dickens classic to the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, where Scrooge is the greedy owner of a mining town. Add in the music of Dolly Parton for a heartfelt holiday hootenanny.

The audience dictates all of the major story elements of The Improv Centre’s holiday hijinx by suggesting the setting, antagonist, love interest – whatever sparks joy for the audience, will find the improv creating relationships and plot points that are appealing, heart-warming, and laughter-inducing for everyone.
Ballet BC presents Royal Winnipeg Ballet: The Nutcracker

Disney On Ice presents Magic in the Stars

The Vagabond Players present “Tick, Tick… BOOM!” – a semi-autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson (Rent) – portrays Jon’s inner struggle between his passion for composing and the practical demands of life, set against the backdrop of New York City’s musical theater scene.
Ann Mortifee’s Reflection on Crooked Walking

This Juno Award-nominated family musical returns, telling the tale of four people who find themselves the only ones left awake, surrounded by sleeping townspeople. Their journey in search of a cure for the mysterious sleeping sickness leads them down a surprising path of deeper self-awareness.
