Noods: If you were lucky enough to get tickets, tonight Vancouver Foodster’s 9th Annual Noodle Mania explores the city looking for noodles; from Chinese chow mein to Japanese udon to Italian Bucatini, Vietnamese rice noodles – watch for other tasty Vancouver Foodster Events this month too
Egypt: Continuing until January 14th, the Canadian premiere of National Geographic’s Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience commemorating the 100th anniversary of one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time, is proving hugely popular with the run at Vancouver Convention Centre East.

Canyon: The blazing Canyon Lights brighten up the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver with thousands of lights illuminating the bridge, trails and trees glowing until January 22nd
Panto: While the in-person performances of East Van Panto: The Little Mermaid have come to a close, you can still watch the digital edition on-demand, extended now until until January 31st.
Internment: The Arts Club Theatre Company start previews January 12th on Forgiveness, based on the acclaimed memoir by Mark Sakamoto, the powerful story of his family’s harrowing experiences during World War II.
Marionette: Expect big laughs as The Cultch starts the year off with the world premiere of Ronnie Burkett’s Little Willy, an adults-only marionette retelling of Romeo and Juliet, at the Historic Theatre, January 10-29.
Sad: Produced by the Firehall Arts Centre and Victoria’s Puente Theatre, acclaimed Portuguese-Canadian playwright Elaine Ávila’s play, FADO – The Saddest Music in the World returns to The Firehall stage from Saturday, January 14 to Sunday, February 5.

Skate: The Robson Square Ice Rink is open until February 28th for your old-fashioned outdoor skating family fun, with skate rentals just $5.
Blue: Marking its 10th Anniversary, Mitch and Murray Productions 2022-2023 season begins with the world premiere of Instantaneous Blue at The Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island from January 6-22.
Dance: Vancouver’s own internationally celebrated choreographer, Joshua Beamish, and his MOVETHECOMPANY present its latest choreographic work, Source Amnesia, at Vancouver Playhouse January 13 & 14.
Sculpture: January 14th, The Polygon Gallery, in collaboration with Burrard Arts Foundation, unveils a large-scale commissioned sculpture, Rebecca Belmore’s Hacer Memoria, installed along the top of The Polygon Gallery’s east-facing façade, and comprises oversized blue and orange shirts made of tarpaulin
