As we head toward mid-June we look to sunnier skies ahead, and more entertainment to keep our summer picks filled with fun.
Doors: Continuing until June 12th, the 14thDoors Open Richmond, presented by The Richmond Museum, is a virtual event, featuring online tours of more than 30 sites representing Richmond’s cultural diversity and heritage.

Dance: The Dance Centre’s 2020-2021 Discover Dance! Series comes to a close this week with the internationally-renowned Goh Ballet, streaming from June 3rd to 17th, featuring members of the Goh Ballet Youth Company and Goh Ballet Academy’s Senior Professional Division.
Concert: On June 11th, Turning Point Ensemble (TPE) is presenting TPE Interactive, an online concert featuring works by two innovative composers David Eagle and Mauricio Pauly. Recorded in the Chan Shun Concert Hall the virtual concert features both of the composers performing live interactive electronics alongside the ensemble.

Masterpiece: Imagine Van Gogh: The Immersive Exhibition continues at Vancouver Convention Centre, until August 29, 2021 so you have the whole summer to see this amazing spectacle of Van Gogh’s masterpieces.
Art: The Vancouver Art Gallery’s 2021 Art Auction | Spring Forward, wraps up on June 15, 2021. This is your last change to bid on the outstanding artworks by renowned local and international artists, currently on view at the Gallery’s 4th Floor.
Walk: Get outside and enjoy Push Walks, from PuSh Festival are a unique invitation to take a safe walk with artists through the urban spaces that have given them inspiration, listen and walk to one of the six Walks now available where you find your podcasts.
Markets: For your farm fresh produce and supplies Vancouver Farmers Markets at Riley Park, Trout Lake, Kitsilano, West End and Mount Pleasant are now open until the autumn with Downtown opening this week and False Creek market opening soon.
Compass: Get out and about exploring North Van Arts’ North Shore Culture Compass, to find sights, or public outdoor art.

Opera: Vancouver Opera’s 2020–2021 digital season wraps up in June with Carmen: Up Close And Personal now streaming on Vancouver Opera’s digital portal along with the season’s other productions; La Voix Humaine, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and The Music Shop.
