The 35nd Anniversary Mission Folk Music Festival (MFMF) is bringing an extraordinary lineup of music to the beautiful Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission, BC.

From July 22nd to 24th, the 2022 festival boasts a widely diverse roster of international artists and groups from across Canada, the US, Estonia, Taiwan and Chile. Over 20 acts are slated to perform at both daytime stages and on the evening main stage in the Park overlooking the Fraser River.
The MFMF’s Artistic Director, Michelle Demers Shaevitz, has curated a weekend that includes both familiar names and exciting new discoveries – covering a world of musical ground.
“It’s a thrill for us to return in person to Fraser River Heritage Park for our 35th Anniversary festival”, says Demers Shaevitz. “I’m excited to welcome folks back to the park to share some amazing global music with them. This year’s lineup offers festival-goers everything from singer-songwriter folk to Celtic, blues, bluegrass and soul to the uniquely amazing nu folk of Estonia’s Puuluup, the electrifying sound of Chile’s Golosa La Orquesta, and for our Saturday night main stage final act, the dynamic Québécois zydeco of Le Winston Band – and much more! From the heart of BC’s Rockies, Shred Kelly will help kick off the festival Friday night, and a true Canadian treasure, William Prince will close the show on Sunday. And in between – there’s an incredible range of tunes to enjoy. We welcome everyone from our longtime fans to folks who’ll be experiencing Mission for the first time. Come join us. Come Follow Your Folk!”
