The 8th Annual Vancouver Craft Beer Week (VCBW) is upon us and brewing up 10 days of events across Metro Vancouver.
Starting today, with the Opening Night Party at Roundhouse Community Centre, an evening of food, beer, art and music presented by The Georgia Straight.
Other events throughout the VCBW include;
Collaboration Tap Takeover at Big Rock Urban Brewery & Eatery, on Saturday from noon-5pm. Experience collaboration brews from the regions fave brewers plus food, entertainment and take a tour of the brewery.
Brewers Row Block Party in Port Moody at The Parkside Brewery, finds the Tri-Cities breweries; Yellow Dog Brewing Co, Twin Sails Brewery, Moody Ales and The Parkside Brewery joining forces for a day of fun & beer.
Biercraft Belgian Showcase at Biercraft Bistro highlights the traditions of Belgium’s brewing history from Ales, Blondes, Darks, Trappistes, Flemish and Saisons
Forbidden Fruit at Devil’s Elbow celebrates Fruit Beers from 20 different BC craft breweries, in an homage to Portland’s popular Fruit Beer Festival.
The VCBW Festival, at the PNE Fairgrounds, closes the week June 3-4 with a weekend of beer and cider. 100 craft breweries and cideries bringing over 300 brews, the biggest selection of beverages in one place. It’s not just beer either; art, live music, djs, food trucks, marketplace, demonstrations and more.
