Sunday night, the 57th Grammy Awards, music’s biggest night, raised the roof at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles with a star-studded show and ceremony. Broadcast on CBS and hosted by NCIS: Los Angeles star/rapper L.L. Cool J, for the fourth consecutive year the show presented 83 awards in the Nokia Theatre pre-telecast and live on-air.
AC/DC kicked off the telecast which also included performances by Arianna Grande, Miranda Lambert, Kanye West, Madonna, Ed Sheeran with John Mayer, Quest Love, Herbie Hancock , Hozier and Annie Lennox, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Usher, Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney, Sam Smith and Mary J Blige, Sia, Beyonce and more.
Leading the nominations were newcomer Sam Smith, Beyonce and Pharrell Williams with six nods each. Sam Smith walked away with four trophies and Beyonce made Grammy history adding 3 more wins to her lifetime total, now at 20 trophies, making her the second most recognized female artist.
