Located directly across the street from the Port Authority, just a 6 blocks from Penn Station and 3 blocks from the heart of Times Square, it’s a great spot for catching Broadway shows or a game at Madison Square Garden. As with most New York accommodation great food is just steps away, this is no exception, a branch of Dean & Deluca, Qi Bangkok Eatery, Piccolo Cafe and Shake Shack are nearby. The hotel is not far from the start (or end) of the High Line Park, if you’re looking for an outdoor stroll. 
Inside the hotel all the usual amenities one expects from a Fairfield Inn can be found, a small but decent fitness centre in the lower lever, the Inn Sport Bar does double duty in it’s morning hours as additional seating for the complimentary breakfast included with your accommodation. Computer work stations and a comfortable seating/waiting area around a large fireplace round out the lobby. Friendly concierge, desk staff and bellman make the lobby lively and inviting. With two similarly sized properties on either side and the busy Port Authority bus depot across, the street is almost always occupied with pedestrians and the familiar yellow taxis, so it always feels like a safe environment to walk in spite of the New York State Parole office mid-block.
