If you’re like me you’ve probably gone through more than a few spatulas, in the kitchen. Today’s Friday Find, the Chef’n Switchit Flex Wide Spatula will be the last one you’ll ever need unless you want another in a different size or colour.
So often kitchen utensils pitch themselves as non-stick, heat-resistant and thin but rarely have I found a spatula that actually lives up to the hype. The Chef’n Switchit Flex does live up to the label, it’s the thinnest spatula I’ve ever seen, the completely silicone structure keeps it from sticking or melting against the side of your pan.
This spatula is a is perfect for making eggs, especially omelettes, the ultra thin, flexible edge easily slides under foods. Not a drop of baking batter is wasted as the silicone seals perfectly to the sides of a bowl to make sure nothing is missed.
Sure there are cheaper spatulas but cheap ones tend to only last a short so you go through a lot of them. The first Chef’n Switchit Flex I received, as a gift, was my most used kitchen utensil and lasted for 5 years until I wore it out. Find the spatula at specialty kitchen stores near you or on Amazon.ca
