Kay – Rogers Arena – 24April2012
Opening a night of Canadian music, new girl on the hip-hop block, Kay hit the stage at Rogers Arena . A blond fireball of energy, Kay’s blend of hip-hop, rap, R&B is infused with a solid dose of pop. She was all over the stage, backed by a DJ to help whip up the early crowd. With her ridiculously catchy lead single “My Name Is Kay” reminding us who she is, the audience won’t soon forget. Having worked with music heavyweights 
like Tiesto, Ryan Tedder, & Kurtis Blow, I’m sure we can look forward to hearing much more from this Vancouver resident.
