Tuesday’s return of the biannual KNOWSHOW to Vancouver Convention Centre marks the highlight of the season for lifestyle retailers. The 3 day showcase is where we’ll find out what styles will be hitting the stores this coming Summer 2014.
More than just a staid trade show, KNOWSHOW is the chance for lifestyle brands to show off their new season’s lines…and show off they do. Multi-national brands like Roxy, Quicksilver, Adidas, Converse, Nixon, Mavi, Skullcandy and Salomon present flashy storefront-type booths with fully subscribed buyers sessions. However, KNOWSHOW isn’t just for the big brands, many smaller brands have gotten a leg up by presenting their lines also giving the retailers a chance to catch up on new brands (or new to Canada) before they break or help to make them take the next step. Ten Tree, NEUW, Rains, Minimum, Urbanears, Stance Socks, SAXX and Native are just a few who have seen their lines and retail presence grow over the years of presenting. KNOWSHOW isn’t all buyers and media presentations, a full roster of evening parties and activities keep the ‘networking’ going after the sessions end.
KNOWSHOW runs July 30th to August 1st, 2013.
