In Vancouver to have snow on the ground and icy ponds would be a highlight of a starry Christmas season evening stroll but at Van Dusen Gardens’ Festival of Lights it’s hard to outshine the brilliant displays.
Millions of lights adorn the gardens, transforming the botanical gem into a sparkling Holiday jewel. Be on the lookout for Gingerbread Folk, Angels, Toy Soldiers, singing Gnomes, Carolers, The Grinch and Make-A-Wish Candle Grotto & Room Of Joy throughout the pathways, shrubs and flowerbeds of the Garden. A highlight is always the Dancing Lights on Livingston Lake, regularly scheduled to mesmerize visitors throughout their evening visit. Top off your evening by getting a photo with Santa for a lasting memory of your Festival of Lights visit.
Van Dusen Garden Festival of Lights opens tonight and continues nightly from 4:30-9:00pm, until January 4, 2014 (closed December 25).
