It’s official! The 2012 Live At Squamish music line-up was announced at a launch part at Commodore Ballroom featuring performances by Current Swell and The Matinée. A few hundred people showed up to see brand.LIVE and Live Nation present a video introduction of the bands scheduled to perform at this year’s festival.
For it’s third year, the small Howe Sound town of Squamish will bring together two dozen acts to perform over three days, August 24,25,26. Being just an hour drive (the festival offers a daily Shuttle service for just $30) from Vancouver means it’s easy to return to your own bed each night, or stick close to the action by camping

onsite or take advantage of any of Squamish’s accommodations very nearby. With a main stage set against the most beautiful backdrop of the rocky cliff face of the Stawamus Chief, Live at Squamish is a great showcase of local, Canadian and international talent.
The bands announced so far include:
The Tragically Hip, City and Colour, Chromeo, Lights, Sheepdogs, Beats Antique, Charles Bradley, Mother Mother, The Airborne Toxic Event, Wintersleep, Kathleen Edwards, Plants & Animals, Current Swell, The Pack A.D., Rich Hope, The Matinée, Wake Owl, Humans, plus many more.
