International Guitar Night (IGN) celebrates 25 years, as it returns to Massey Theatre on February 1st.

Since its conception in Northern California in the late 90’s, International Guitar Night has been at the forefront of showcasing the world’s most exceptional guitarists, both established virtuosos and rising stars. This year’s lineup of awe-inspiring talent once again captivates audiences with their unique styles of solos, duets and quartets transcending the art and diversity of the acoustic guitar.
IGN’s founder Brian Gore has assembled a lineup of 3 exciting new guitarists, making their tour debuts, joining one of IGN’s all-time favorites. Lulo Reinhardt (German) is well known to IGN audiences. The grand nephew of legendary Django Reinhardt, Lulo Reinhardt, a name associated with world music, Latin Swing, a guitar virtuoso with unmistakable roots. Alexandra Whittingham (Britain) is a dynamic classical guitarist with a repertoire ranging from the classics to contemporary composers growing a massive online following with performances worldwide, including prestigious venues and orchestral collaborations. Niwel Tsumbu (Democratic Republic of the Congo) based in Ireland, defies musical boundaries with a fusion of jazz, classical, rock, and African rhythms. Soenke Meinen(Germany) is an acclaimed Contemporary Fingerstyle guitarist, mixing the incredible dexterity of his high-speed compositions with sensitive ballads, blending folk, classical, pop, and jazz influences into a captivating musical journey.
