Miss Quincy and the Showdown, the all-girl rock band from BC is setting off on tour in support of their upcoming release, Roadside Recovery with the province. The album was recorded and produced by fellow Vancouver musician and composer Matt Rogers (The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer), whose production chops meshed perfectly with the soulful blues rock of Miss Quincy and the Showdown. Quincy herself has released two solo albums, though this marks the band’s first recording, after touring hard together through Canada and Europe for the last couple of years. The result of all the road dirt, feminine vibes and hot production, is a heavy hitting, genuinely rocking collection of songs. Roadside Recovery is available April 8th on iTunes, CD Baby and through Miss Quincy’s website, as well as at all the upcoming live shows:
