Experience the “Taste of Music” this July at The Urban Tea Merchant. After a long work week, what’s nicer with a cup of iced tea, or a tea-infused cocktail than the soothing sound of music? Take in their new summer line-up of tea service – food, cocktails and new blends while in the peaceful Alberni Street location.
Every Friday in July, The Urban Tea Merchant welcomes guests to the Taste of Music Summer Series. From 5:30pm to 8pm, musicians will be performing in-store to help block out the stresses of the week and get your weekend off to a relaxing start.
The Taste of Music Summer Series starts tonight Friday, July 4th at 5:30pm and continues each week through July.
July 4th – Adrian Verdejo – a Vancouver guitarist known for his dynamic and diverse performances, will be performing light classical music on acoustic guitar.
July 11th – Yaletown String Quartet – the west coast’s most innovative string quartet, will be performing jazz, latin and classical music.
July 18th – Kozue Matsumoto – the Vancouver based Japanese artist performs on the koto, a Japanese traditional music instrument.
July 25th – Jerry Boey Trio – the popular trio perform jazz standards with a fresh and listenable twist.
