Looking for a great last minute gift for the Foodie on your list? Can’t face braving the crowds in the Mall, why not give them a ticket to Van Foodster’s next food event, the first of 2013, Noodle Mania.
A new event concept, similar to Van Foodster’s already popular Tasting Plates Vancouver events, which engaged foodies and promoted participating restaurants extensively. Guests at Noodle Mania will have a chance to taste all types of noodles from chow mein to spaghetti to ramen, udon, pad thai and more. Touring many ethnic eateries and tasting noodle dishes from American, Chinese, Hong Kong, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Malaysian, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and more.
To showcase their restaurant and promoting their food and chefs, participating restaurants will each offer tasting bowls and plates of their noodle dishes to the guests. Like Tasting Plates, the event is a roving tour that will start off at an yet to be determined location, from there guests can take off on their own and visit any or all of the participating restaurants. The restaurants are all located Vancouver, and all are accessible by moped, bike, driving, transit, or carpooling.
Announced participating restaurants:
Urban Thai Bistro (Thai)
Chau Veggie Express (Vietnamese)
Bob Likes Thai Food (Thai)
Hai Phong (Vietnamese)
