Relive the campy good times as you tag along on this one of a kind trip to the desert of Osoyoos. The Priscilla Queen Of The Desert Festival invites you to experience a fun-filled weekend of food & wine along with some of BC’s most glamourous drag queens. Hopefully, there’s no breakdowns on the bus, as in the original production, but if there is you’ll have plenty of entertainers on hand with your host Joan-E, Devanna DeMille, Iona Whipp, and Oddree Mayormaynot on board.
Come along as Good Life Vancouver’s Cassandra Anderton, a food, wine and travel writer, guides you through the festival in style. Over the weekend you will experience a wine-paired dinner at Miradoro Restaurant, Vancouver Magazine’s “Best Winery/Vineyard Dining in the Okanagan”, followed by dance & drag show at Sage Pub. Rub shoulders with celebrities and VIP afternoon wine and food event at Black Hills Winery new Wine Experience Centre. Walnut Beach Resort provides the food at a Fruity Pink and Sparkling Wine tasting event with over 30 wines to sip and swirl. An exclusive silent auction features donations from the Okanagan’s food, wine and hospitability industry with proceeds to the Shooting Stars Foundation. A farewell wine-paired brunch at the award-winning, Terrafina Restaurant at Hester Creek Winery wraps up the weekend before boarding ‘Priscilla’ and heading back to Vancouver.
