Caps: Show your Whitecaps FC pride this weekend as July 8th brings a soccer doubleheader to BC Place with a WFC2 match versus Colorado Rapids 2 at 2pm then the Senior Whitecaps FC play host to Seattle Sounders at 7:30pm in the 10th annual Pride Match with halftime performance by Synthia Kiss (Canada’s Drag Race season 2) along with the Rainbow Concert Band, Canada’s only LGBTQ2S+ concert band.
Queens: Prior to the Pride match, the club will be hosting ‘Caps & Queens Drag Happy Hour outside of BC Place at Beatty & Robson, a free event open to ages 19+, with drinks starting at only $5 hosted by Synthia Kiss the event includes live set from DJ Nick Bertossi, drag performances from some of Vancouver’s top performers, and a performance from singer/songwriter Matthew Presidente.
