Doors: On June 7 & 8, the 18th annual Doors Open Richmond presented by The Richmond Museum welcomes the public to explore behind the scenes at more than 50 sites spanning art studios, national historic sites, agricultural farms, and religious organizations to highlight the diversity of the city.
Yolo: June 5-15, The Cultch welcomes the HAUS OF YOLO, a fashionably fun circus show, bursting at the seams with stunning acrobatics and party tunes. The audience is invited to become a muse of high fashion as Welt Couture and the “Sexy Meat Puppets” create their latest collection live on stage as chic creations move from sewing machine to circus routine.
Dance: The Dance Centre’s Global Dance Connections series welcomes the world premiere of Sloth Canon from Company 605 (Vancouver) + The Human Expression Dance Company (Singapore) June 5-7 at the Scotiabank Dance Centre
Ballet: Goh Ballet presents a pair of Spring 2025 Showcase Performances this week; Hommage à Petipa
“A Tribute to Ballet’s Golden Age” June 6-7 at 7:30pm and Les Saisons’ Fantastique June 7, at 2:30pm with both performances at Vancouver Playhouse.
Market: Junction Public Market, returns to Granville Square – 200 Granville Street. For its second year, the unique shipping container marketplace, will feature rotating pop-ups, local artisans, food vendors, a licensed patio, live entertainment, and special events planned throughout the season, all for with free entry.
