This Sunday, June 8th, The Fairmont Empress goes pink as part of a Coast to Coast fundraiser. Originating in Newfoundland & Labrador, Pink Days In Bloom is a one day only fundraising event for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation- BC / Yukon. The famed Fairmont Empress Afternoon Tea is turning pink for the afternoon and 10% of the revenue will be donated to the CBCF-BC/Yukon. Guests are invited to help turn the Tea Lobby pink by donning their pink clothing, hats and other accessories.
The day will begin at 10:30 with a public dedication & tree planting ceremony in The Fairmont Empress’ gardens with attendance from breast cancer survivors and their supporters. The public are invited to purchase pink dedication ribbons to tie on the tree, sponsored by Helijet, to make it come alive with pink ‘blooms’.
The Fairmont Empress Afternoon Tea services will be available from 11:30am – 4:45pm. $59.95 per adult, $29.98 per child
