Victoria is about to come alive with the sound of music as Rifflandia Festival takes over the city. For the next for days, September 12 – 15, venues all across Victoria will host acts from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Courtney Love, Big Boi, Beth Orton, Matt & Kim, Current Swell, Humans, Hot Hot Heat and many many more. The action packed schedule starts Thursday evening at the eleven Night Venues come to life. Alix Goolden Hall, Club 9ONE9, Market Square and Phillips Backyard (be sure to grab a pint of Phillips Brewery’s special Rifflandia Beer, Rifflandabrau) are just some of the locations hosting music every night of the festival. When day breaks head to Royal Athletic Park as the Park Stages play host to the day’s worth of great music. Great acts blow up the Rifftop Tent and headliners rock the Main Stage until evening, when the night venues light up again. In between acts check out Artlandia at the park, use your wristband to activate great Winlandia prizes and special offers from the Rifflandia Sponsors. Take part in the online WarChild (Rifflandia’s featured charity) auction and on Saturday and Sunday, stop by The Atrium for great intimate performances in the WarChild Lounge.
