The 21st Annual SAG Awards were presented Sunday night in Hollywood. The Screen Actors Guild Awards are an award presented to actors and performers by their peers, and uniquely, in addition to top performances in television and film the SAG Awards present “The Actor” to top cast ensembles and stunt ensembles.
At Sunday night’s awards, televised on TBS and TNT, Birdman and Modern Family each started the night with a leading 4 nominations each, Birdman ended the night with one trophy but Modern Family was shut out of the television categories.
Carrie Fisher presented the legendary Debbie Reynolds with the Guild’s 51st Lifetime Achievement Award.
