To celebrate the grand opening of their new store in downtown Vancouver, Topshop / Topman threw a party for the city’s fashion media and VIPs at Five-Sixty nightclub. The guest-list only party was a much sought after invitation as the glitterati and twitterati showed up to celebrate along with The Bay, Topshop/Topman executives and toast the chain’s second largest shop (after London’s Oxford Circus location)
The bars were busy and the music from DJ Kasha Kennedy was pumping up the crowd before Canadian band Metric took to the stage for a lively 40minute set. Lead singer Emily Haines, looking fashionable and fun as always, sounded great as she and the rest of the Montreal band played a selection of their many hits. More music and fun was had while DJ Kennedy carried on spinning until the small hours. With the brand new store opening just a few hours later, the next morning at The Bay downtown there must have been a few tired eyes in the morning, but it sure was a fun time. Thanks to Topshop/Topman and The Bay
