It’s been a year since Wild Rice opened a new location in the rejuvinated River Market in New Westminster. Tomorrow, Saturday, November 24th they are celebrating their first anniversary by throwing a party with a Chinese Market theme starting at 9pm. Entry is free but a $5 suggested donation to the New Westminster Food Bank gets patrons a free drink token, the party features $5 drink specials, small bites, raffle door prizes and live music provided by Les is More. Admission may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the door but reservations are recommended.Before the party starts at 9, the regular dinner menu plus a special five-course tasting menu will be offered for only $25, email lisa@wildricebc.ca to guarantee your seats for dinner or the Anniversary Party.
