Diamond: This week, the Vancouver Canadians are in their final homestand of the season against Eugene Emeralds with plenty of fun and promotions including Friday’s Nooner at the Nat, Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, and A&W Family Fun Sunday.
Music: It’s not until November but limited tickets are on sale today, September 7th for the 2022 Modulus Festival presented by Music on Main, November 3-8, 2022.
Dance: From September 3– 25, the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival is back with another entertaining line-up of national and international flamenco artists for its 32nd edition, with ticketed and free live performances, events and classes at Norman Rothstein Theatre, Waterfront Theatre, the Picnic Pavilion at Granville Island, and Scotiabank Dance Centre.

Festival: Vancouver Fringe Festival is back September 8 – 18, 2022 with 11 days of boundary-pushing theatre and performances from around the world and around the corner.
Bard: Bard on the Beach at Vanier Park continues with A Midsummer Night’s Dream on the Mainstage with Romeo and Juliet playing at Howard Family Stage, until September 24.
Wheels: Award-winning Realwheels Theatre invites audiences on a roller coaster ride of the human experience, In Camera livestreams admission-free in an exclusive limited streaming showcase from Thursday, September 8 to Sunday, September 11, 2022 at realwheels.ca
Biennale: The Polygon Gallery is the first stop on a nationwide tour of Stan Douglas’s Venice Biennale exhibition, 2011 ~ 1848, Local patrons will get to view the Canadian Premiere of the exhibition from Sept. 9 to Nov. 6, 2022.
Stage: The Arts Club Theatre Company 2022-2023 season gets underway with Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Stanley Stage with previews starting September 8th
Exhibition: Coinciding with the show above, Griffin Art Projects presents Allegories of the Present, Sept. 9 to Dec. 11, 2022, a survey exhibition in celebration of the works of acclaimed Vancouver-born artist, photographer, filmmaker Stan Douglas and of his representation of Canada at this year’s Venice Biennale.

Exodus: September 8-25, 2022 at PAL Studio Theatre, Western Gold Theatre presents the world premiere of 90 Days by Salim Rahemtulla, based on first-time playwright Salim Rahemtulla’s own experiences and marking the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Ugandan forced exodus of its Asian community.
Release: Saturday, spend the evening with the music of Amanda Sum at the release party for debut album, New Age Attitudes, at The Cultch Historic Theatre
Gig: Friday, Halagonian rock singer-songwriter Joel Plaskett takes to the stage at Commodore Ballroom
Concert: Sunday September 11, The Gorillaz North American Tour makes a stop at Rogers Arena
Moon: Celebrate the Mid-Autum Festival and the return of the Harvest Full Moon, with Light Up Chinatown! September 10-11, 2022, the free two-day outdoor community event, brings Chinatown together for a free celebration weekend featuring live entertainment, food trucks, lights, lanterns, colourful decorations, dragons and dancing.
Cohen: Chutzpah! Festival kicks off September with TAKE THIS WALTZ – Celebrating the Music of Leonard Cohen in a fusion of music, dance and visuals September 10 & 11 at 8pm, Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre
