
The 49th Annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival (VFMF) returns to Jericho Beach Park from July 17 to 19. A highlight of the peak of summer, the 2026 Festival welcomes 35 incredible artists and groups from across Canada, North America, and around the world.
“This year’s artists are an incredible collection of unique acts of diverse cultures, styles and genres that promise many interesting mashups on our collaborative stages,” says Vancouver Folk Music Festival Artistic Director Fiona Black. “Get ready for Vancouver’s most passionately curated festival that is all about spreading love and positive musical vibes.”
Adds Black, “We wanted to announce our full Festival line up now to encourage everyone to secure their weekend passes for this annual summer event. Knowing who is coming to the festival is always a big part of the excitement and experience at the Festival. We didn’t want to make our audiences wait.”
2026 VFMF Early Bird Weekend Passes are on sale now, at the lowest prices of the year, until the end of April. Weekend Pass price goes up at the end of the month when Single-Day tickets go on sale.

“Whatever folk music means to you, we have something that will appeal to everyone,” says Black. “During the day we have three stages to visit and at night our Mainstage comes alive where everyone gathers to dance in one of Vancouver’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. Vancouver Folk Music Festival is much more than just a music festival, over it’s nearly 50 year run, it has become community celebration filled with dancing, storytelling, food, artisan markets, all set against the natural beauty of Jericho Beach Park.
